Privacy policy

In short: we only receive what you choose to send us through the booking form, WhatsApp, email or Facebook, and we use it to reply and arrange your call. We use Google Analytics to count visits.

This policy explains how ArshSEO handles personal details. ArshSEO is the trading name of Arsh Seo, a business registered in Rangpur, Bangladesh, which is responsible for the personal details described here.

What we collect

Only what you send us. When you use the booking form or contact us by WhatsApp, email or our Facebook page, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website, preferred date and time, and anything else you choose to tell us about your business.

The message helper on our contact page runs in your browser. It prepares a message and opens WhatsApp or your email app. The message helper itself does not store or send what you type.

The booking form

When you send the form on our book a call page, your request is saved in our website’s private admin area and passed to our booking system. That system adds it to a private Google Sheet, sends a confirmation email to you and to us through Gmail, and, once we agree a time, creates a Google Calendar invite with a Google Meet link.

The form also records your time zone and the country code you pick, so we can offer a suitable call time. To block spam, the website briefly counts requests from each internet connection; this count is deleted after one hour. Ticking the consent box means you agree to be contacted about your request, nothing more.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, arrange and prepare for your call and, if you become a client, deliver the service you asked for. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising to other people.

Third parties

Messages travel through the services you choose to contact us on, and those companies handle them under their own privacy policies:

WhatsApp and Facebook, both provided by Meta
Email, provided by Google (Gmail)
Booking requests: our website, hosted by Hostinger; our n8n automation server, which passes requests on; and Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Meet, provided by Google

If you become a client, the tools used in your project are listed in your written plan, and your data stays in accounts that you own. Project tools, such as n8n, AI providers or your CRM, are named in your written plan.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website, for example which pages are read and which contact buttons are tapped. It does not collect your messages or anything you type into WhatsApp, Messenger or email.

Google Analytics can set first-party cookies (for example _ga) to count visits. For visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, these analytics cookies are switched off by default, and Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. We do not use advertising cookies, and Google Analytics advertising features are turned off.

Google explains how it handles this data in its privacy policy. You can block Google Analytics in your browser with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and booking requests for as long as needed to answer you and to deliver any service you request. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Unless you ask us to delete them sooner, we delete messages and booking requests that did not lead to a project after 12 months, and keep project records for up to 3 years after a project ends, for accounting and support.

Your rights

You can ask us what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law. We are based in Bangladesh, so your details may be handled outside your country, using the providers named above. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you have rights under the UK GDPR or the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We do not sell personal information.
